The process to clean your aircon filter

The process to clean your aircon filter is very simple and takes only 1 minute:

Switch off the air conditioner indoor unit.
Open the cover of your aircon as shown in the video above.
Take out the filters.
Vacuum the filters.
Spray the filters with some water dissolved with a mild detergent (like your dish washing fluid).
Let it completely dry outside, avoiding any direct sun.
Once the filters are completely dry, fit them back in your air conditioner.
Repeat once per month.

Frequently Asked Questions about your aircon

My air conditioner stops cooling/heating after a while.

When your air conditioner reaches its set temperature, the indoor unit will switch off and will only operate in fan modus to ensure airflow. Once the room temperature reaches above a certain threshold the air conditioning unit will automatically switch on again.

My air conditioner is totally not cooling or heating.

This can have multiple reasons. It’s important to check your remote to see if the unit is not in fan modus. You can clearly see this on the controller if there is a little fan icon. Press on ‘mode’ to go to your desired setting (snowflake-icon for cooling, sun-icon for heating).

Why is my aircon blowing hot air?

Check if your controller is set on cooling. If the sun-icon is displayed, your air conditioner is set in heating modus. Press ‘mode’ to to cooling modus (snowflake-icon).

Why is my air conditioner unit not turning on?

Check if your controller or thermostat is switched on, afterwards check if the circuit breaker is switched on and that the unit is receiving power. Should the aircon still not react, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

Is it normal that my aircon outdoor unit is leaking water?

Yes, your aircon will remove humidity from your room and then condenses along the outdoor unit. This is collected in a drain pan and that’s why you’ll see that your outdoor unit is leaking water.

A correct installation ensure that there is a drainpipe from the outdoor unit to a location where it is easy to collect the water.

Is it normal that my aircon indoor unit leaks water?

No, this is considered as abnormal behaviour. Check the drain pipe to see if it is not clogged. The most common problem is leaves or bugs entering the drain pipe and blocking it. As the condensate cannot be extracted outside, the indoor unit starts leaking. Ofcourse we are happy to help you here!

Can I re-use the water of my outdoor unit?

For sure! We recommend using this to water your plants or use for any gardening purposes. However it is not drinkable as it contains impurities.
