Verda Vento offers green air conditioning which reduces your environmental impact and saves you money on your monthly electricty bill. First of all our heat pump technology makes it the most efficient solution to choose during summer and winter. Secondly by choosing a unit with a high seasonal efficiency you are reducing your impact on the environment but also reducing your electricity bill. Verda Vento only offers refrigerants with a low impact on the environment. With a quality installation and proper sizing you reduce any installation risks. Together with our maintenance and end-of-life handling you are guaranteed to have a complete green air conditioning loop.
In our previous blog we have also explained the potential impact of air conditioning on the environment.
All our units are air-to-air heat pumps. Now, how does a heat pump work? A heat pump extracts heat from the air inside and transfers this outside through a refrigerant. This heat pump is reversible, which means that it can reverse its cycle. In Winter the unit can extract heat from the outdoor air, even at temperatures lower than 20 degrees Celcius, and transfer this indoors.
So when you choose a green air conditioner from Verda Vento, you are not only buying an efficient cooling solution but also a green heating alternative. Read more about the difference between an air conditioner and a heat pump.
Heat pumps are considered a renewable energy source and are much more efficient than your traditional heat system. The amount of heat they produce is more than the amount of electricity they use. The amount of heat produced for every unit of electricity is known as the Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP). And as it is reversible, also in cooling it is amazingly efficient. There the ratio is quantified by the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER).
Verda Vento has thoroughly scanned the market and only offers units with the highest seasonal efficiencies in the market, such as the heat pumps of Daikin.
All the units offered at Verda Vento are based on the refrigerant of R32. R32 is the preferred replacement refrigerant for R410A to reduce the environmental impact of air conditioners and improve efficiency.
Verda Vento’s core promise is to deliver a green air conditioner solution and the best installation in the market. Proper installation reduces the risks of breakdowns, and also avoids any leakages of refrigerants. Leakage of refrigerants is one of the key contributors to global warming and it is therefore critical to avoid at all costs. it is therefore critical to choose a certified air conditioning installation company.
The smart algorithm of Verda Vento will take into account your specific needs and then scan through all the alternatives available to you based on your criteria. Based on all the information you have entered we select the perfect size that matches your need. No size too big, or too small, just that perfect size to create the optimal energy consumption. We have put years of expertise in this algorithm with the feedback of installers across the world.
Buying a green air conditioner with Verda Vento is a partnership. This means we will not leave you after the installation, but will take care of you through the coming years. We offer a full service and maintenance plan to make sure we avoid any unnecessary breakdowns but also make sure no leakages of refrigerants occur.
One part of being a green air conditioner provider is how you handle units after their lifetime. Whether you are purchasing a new unit or just removing an existing system, it is always critical to set up a proper end-of-life cycle. This means that the refrigerant in the existing unit has to be completely removed and contained. In some cases the refrigerant can be cleaned and re-used so there is no extra refrigerant needed. Additionally the air conditioner will be removed and properly recycled with an external partner. We’d love to give you a receipt and proof of this!
