How do you select the recommended solution?
This is where the magic happens!

Can I choose something other than the recommended solution?
Of course, we allow all our customers to choose a unit themselves if the required capacity is respected.

What are things that I need to look out for when I buy my air conditioner?
We believe the 3 main factors to look at are seasonal efficiency (how much electricity will you consume, typically indicated by SEER and SCOP), the impact on the environment and the quality of the product.
How do you calculate energy efficiency?
We calculate your average energy consumption together with the seasonal efficiency of a unit, typically represented by SEER and SCOP.
What is the difference between SEER and EER?
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) measures how efficiently an air conditioner operates over an entire season.
The Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) is a standardised ratio using only one environmental temperature.
SEER gives a more accurate reflection of a unit’s efficiency performance.
How do you calculate the impact on the environment?
We use the Total Equivalent Warming Impact (TEWI).
This is a measure of the combined global warming impact of the refrigerant losses to the atmosphere, and the CO2 emissions from the fossil fuels that generate power to run the refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
It also considers how ‘green’ the country’s electricity generation is.
What does Verda Vento mean?

How long does delivery take?
On average we deliver between 3-5 working days after the payment has reflected in our account.
Of course, we can adjust the delivery depending on your required installation date.
That is why after an order, we will be in touch with you.
What happens after I have purchased my unit?
That’s where our installation service kicks in!
We contact you regarding time and date of delivery and will make sure that all the information you have provided is correct, as to avoid installing a unit that does not meet your need.
Once done, we deliver the product and on the agreed date our installer will install your unit.
The unit will be connected to the Smartphone App, and you will be able to use your air conditioner from any smart device you have and track the energy consumption.
Then it’s time to enjoy your comfortable temperature. If you have any questions, we are here to support you.
What if I am not sure about the unit I have ordered?
No problem, just contact us and we will take care of it. We will either ask you to take some pictures of the site to make sure all is okay, or we will come over and inspect the site.
Can I return my unit?
Mistakes happen, and we understand this. If the packaging is in original condition and the unit is uninstalled, we will happily arrange the return.

How does air conditioning work?
Our air conditioners use an indoor unit, which is placed inside your house and an outdoor unit, which is placed outside.
Air conditioners are intended to ‘condition the air’ inside your home.
They do this by changing the temperature, humidity, or your overall air quality.
In cooling mode air conditioners transfer the heat inside the room via a refrigerant outdoors. Removing that heat energy will cool down the room.
Of course, with all our units, heating is also possible where the exact opposite is done. The outdoor unit will extract the heat in the outside air and then transfer it inside.
Can I heat up my room with my air conditioner?
Yes, all our air conditioners come standard as heat pumps.
This means you can use our air conditioners for cooling and heating for your best comfort.
What is the difference between heat pumps and standard air conditioners?
A heat pump can provide both cooling and heating, while a standard air conditioner can only provide cooling.
At Verda Vento we only offer heat pumps that offer you the perfect comfort, in winter and summer.
What is BTU & kW?
British Thermal Unit and kiloWatt are all units of measurement for your air conditioner.
The higher the figure the more capacity the unit can provide to cool down a room.
It’s important to correctly scope your air conditioner unit for the room.
Too low a capacity will give discomfort; too high a capacity will cause the unit to operate inefficiently and potentially even impact the lifetime.
How do I select the correct size of air conditioner?
Selecting the correct air conditioner depends on many variables. That is why we at Verda Vento have developed an algorithm that does that selection for you.

Based on your input we select the most suitable unit for you.
In case you still want to decide for yourself, we recommend you look at the overall efficiency of the unit and the impact on the environment.

Does my air conditioner have air purification?
This depends on the model you have purchased; you can find all the details on your invoice.

Can I install an air conditioner myself?
All our air conditioners include the installation.
It is important to have your product installed by a qualified & certified installation company.
That is why at Verda Vento we have decided to only work with the best installers in the market.
What do I need to do before the installation?
We will be in touch before the installation to confirm details to make sure that the area of installation is cleared of any clutter and the installer has enough room to move around.
Where do I need to install my outdoor unit?
Our suggestion is to install the outdoor unit on the floor on the same wall as your indoor unit with at least 1,5 meters available around it to have enough air circulation.
Where do I need to install my indoor unit?
Our installers will advise on the best place to install your indoor unit.
It’s important to place it in the position where it provides the best efficiency across the room.
Do I have to pay extra for installation?
No, all our prices include installation. Hence the questions asked on the layout of the room.
If these questions have been answered accurately no additional costs should be expected.
How long is the warranty of my unit?
Every unit comes with a different warranty period.
Our minimum warranty is 3 years, and you can find your warranty on the back on your invoice.
If you are unable to retrieve it, please contact us and we will happily assist you.
Do I need to service my unit?
Yes, to guarantee the lifetime of your equipment we suggest servicing your equipment every 6-months.
